Mighty Ducks and Mini Ducks Program
LFSC is seeking qualified coaches for our Mini-Ducks and Mighty Ducks program. These are part-time positions, perfect for current and former competitive swimmers. Click on the program descriptions and curriculum pages in navigation section (Membership Information) for details about these squads.

Mini-Ducks Coaches for the Mini Ducks are in-water coaches teaching young swimmers fundamental skills for competitive swimming. These swimmers have acquired basic swimming skills and are working to acquire the entry level skills required for our Mighty Ducks program. Prior instructional experience and competitive swimming experience is a definite plus but not required for these positions.
These positions are perfect for college students, masters swimmers and mature high school students. The Mini Ducks program is managed by Coach Laurel Liberty and currently operates at Lake Forest Academy on Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-6:10pm. Demand for this program is high and we are looking to expand opportunities at both Lake Forest Academy and Lake Forest College. Compensation is based on qualifications and prior coaching or instructional experience.
Mighty-Ducks Coaches for the Mighty Ducks work with young swimmers to refine fundamental skills, build strength and acquire advanced competitive swimming skills, including starts and turns. Prior instructional experience and competitive swimming experience is required for these positions.
