For over 50 years LFSC swimmers and coaches have set the highest standards for themselves and been richly rewarded with tremendous achievement at the highest levels of American swimming. This fall marks the final push for swimmers who dream the Olympic dream and all of us should be very proud to know that LFSC will be represented at the 2012 Olympic Trials. The courage, dedication and work ethic of our teammates who stand on the blocks in Omaha is testament to the spirit and tradition of our club.
Throughout our history the generous financial support our members, local businesses and dedicated alumni has been instrumental in providing a program to help young people chase their swimming dreams. The path from the first dog paddle stroke of our Mini Ducks to the smooth power of our most accomplished swimmers is a long and challenging path. It is also the path to a bright future for each child and one made easier with your help.
We are unique among competitive swimming teams in Illinois in that we receive no support from public funds. Our club is a not-for-profit organization and is solely dependent upon program fees, sponsorships, advertising, and contributions from members, friends and local businesses.
