    Distance Duck Meet Results

    LFSC Distance Duck Meet

The final heats of the Distance Duck Meet are (finally!) concluded and we have some fantastic results to report. A total of 42 swimmers tested themselves and showed how Tuff Ducks get it done.

Our First Timer 1500 Club this meet included Filip Jezewski, Aliah Levinson, Katie Borgerding, Amanda Chang and Anna Korczak. Next June we will see another strong group of swimmers in the 1500 with Riley Crouch, Noah Karr, Nate Steele, Chloe York, Brendan Burke, Katelyn Heytdorn, Molly Meier and Jacquie Wilson all cracking the 7:00 standard in the 400 free.

"The Big Drop Award" for the meet go to:

    • Cassidy Meyer -- 1500, 2:33 time drop
    • Kevin Williams -- 1500, 1:53 time drop
    • Gabriel Bialek -- 400, :39 time drop
    • Riley Crouch -- 400, :56 time drop

Congratulations, pick your prize in practice from Coach Laurel or Coach Michael. Current records for the Distance Duck Meet, now in it's 36th consecutive year are:

After 72 Distance Duck meets ( ! ) meets it's still fun to watch how our swimmers progress through their age group career. The meet has always been a great test of individual progress and this year's meet showed once again tremendous progress from everyone who participated.

The next Distance Duck Meet is set for Wednesday, June 6th ... see you there.
