The field for the 32nd Annual Daniel Jaekel Chicago Classic Meet became even more competitive with the addition of the Bartlett Electrix Swim Team and Ultimate Swimming teams. That brings the number of teams committed to the meet in 2010 to twelve

This year's field now includes Academy Swim Club, Bartlett Electrix Swim Team, J-Hawk Swim Club, Lake Forest Swim Club, Leaning Tower YMCA, Lincolnway Swim Assn, New Trier Swim Club, Palatine Park District, The Oak Park Swimmers, Ultimate Swimming, Westmont Swim Club and YWCA Flying Fish.

We are still able to accept a limited number of individual and team entries to complete the field; if you are interested in participating in this meet please contact us.

Reservations for the upcoming Wisconsin SwimFest are open beginning today. Forms and other files are available on the event page under "News" and in the "Download Files" section. Reserve your entry into the meet by completing the Reservation Form today.

The Lakeview RecPlex is a brand new 10-lane 50 meter facility slated to open on June 1st. We are proud and excited to host one of the first competitions in the facility. The 2010 Central Zone Championships are scheduled for the RecPlex and this is your opportunity to race in the finest aquatic facility in the area!

LFSC Club High School Prep Program

We are very pleased and excited to announce the addition of Cindy Dell and Doug Lennox to the Coaching Staff for our new High School Prep Program. Cindy and Doug will join Jory Blauer, Laurel Liberty and Bill Senese in leading this special program.

Coach Cindy is a long-time fixture in the Lake Forest swimming community as the Head Coach for the highly successful Lake Forest High School Boys Team and as an age group coach with LFSC. Most recently Cindy guided Mitch Stoehr to double Gold Medals at the 2010 IHSA State Meet. Cindy has also been an Assistant Coach with the LFHS Girls Team and teaches competitive swimming during the summer at the Lake Forest Club.

Doug Lennox competed in the 2008 Olympics representing Puerto Rico. Doug swam at Princeton where he achieved All-America status and competed at the NCAA Division I Nationals. During his prep years he was an Illinois High School State Champion in the 100 butterfly. Swimmers in the HS Prep Program will benefit greatly from his enthusiasm and extensive international experience.
