Argh! . . . Our Email Account Got Hacked

Our club email account was hacked recently and most of the people in our contact list received a "damsel in distress" message requesting money. Our browser record shows that the account was somehow compromised from Nigeria with a fairly common scam message.

We have been working throughout the day with professional help to track down and fix the problem, and now we believe the problem has been resolved.

Thank you to everyone who let us know they received this message.

Warm and Toasty!

Repairs at LFA are complete and we are back to completely warm and toasty on practice. All swimmers are to enter the pool through the locker rooms.

The Mini Ducks will finish this session at Lake Forest College from 6:30p-7:10 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Don't forget to enter the Rising Star Season Finale Meet using the online entry form or a paper form available in practice. Following the meet we will head to The Alley for pizza, bowling and fun with our teammates!

Coach Laurel has been named to the staff of the 2012 Short Course World Championships to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, in December. This is Laurel's thrid assignment following the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai and the 2010 Jr Pan Pacific Games in Hawaii.

A couple of local guys-- Conor Dwyer and Matt Grevers, both LFSC alums-- will also be on the team. Congratulations to Coach Laurel, Conor and Matt!

This season we will honor our Olympic Champion, Conor Dwyer, with a special Conor Dwyer/LFSC commemorative team t-shirt.

This specially designed t-shirt is the same one that Conor's family and friends wore while cheering at the Olympic Games in London.
