Another National Champ . . . Lauren Garriques!

There's another National Champion in the waters at LFSC practice.

Ten year old Lauren Garriques churns the waters in Green Squad practice but she doesn't stop there. In addition to her swimming prowess Lauren is a runner, and a pretty good one, too.

At the AAU Nationals she bested the field in the 12&under 3000 meter run to grab the National title. Her time, 11:23.09, was :20 ahead of the pack and works out to 6:06/mile pace!

Congratulations, Lauren!
