This program is not restricted to current LFSC members . . . all swimmers are welcome to Bring A Friend (a swimmer, please!).
National Squad swimmers preparing for the NCSA Jr Nationals or Indy Grand Prix should contact Coach Mo for their practice schedule.

TIME: 6:00-7:15pm (pool)
5:00-6:00pm, Tue/Thu (dryland)
POOL: Lake Forest College
(NOTE: we are unable to discount this fee at this time. After all program costs are covered we will rebate any “excess” fees collected to your Entry Fund account.)
LFSC Championship Meet t-shirts are now available for all swimmers participating in one of our upcoming championship meets. Coaches will distribute t-shirts in practice this week.
All swimmers are required to wear these special t's at the spring championship meets: Regionals, Sr Champs, JOs, Speedo Champs and the NCSA Jr Nationals.
At the Regional Championships this weekend swimmers may also wear the grey LFSC team t-shirt on Saturday. Remember to purchase team caps prior to the meet, also.
There's another National Champion in the waters at LFSC practice.
Ten year old Lauren Garriques churns the waters in Green Squad practice but she doesn't stop there. In addition to her swimming prowess Lauren is a runner, and a pretty good one, too.
At the AAU Nationals she bested the field in the 12&under 3000 meter run to grab the National title. Her time, 11:23.09, was :20 ahead of the pack and works out to 6:06/mile pace!
Rachel is shown with two State of Illinois plaques honoring her double gold medal performance at the 2011 Illinois Girls HS State Meet. Rachel downed the field in convincing fashion in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. The plaques will be raised in the LFHS Athletic Center, joining those of brother Mitch who also won 2events in his Sr year. Rachel and Mitch are the only sister-brother duo to ever capture state swimming crowns. Next up for Rachel . . . the Missouri Grand Prix next weekend.
The next Age Group Challenge Meet for swimmers in the Mighty Ducks and Yellow Squads is Wednesday night. Please be on time for practice so we can get everyone entered and warmed up. Parents, we will need 6 timers and lots of cheering spectators.
Tonights events are (Yellow Squad/Mighty Ducks) the 100/50 free and the 100 IM.
