    Get a tune up on your stroke skills before summer starting with the LFSC Rising Start Technical Clinic. Each session will focus on one of the four competitive strokes as well as start and turns. Our Rising Star Clinics are open to all swimmers, membership with LFSC is not required.

    The clinic features instruction from US National Team coaches, video taping and review, and in water assistance from National championship competitors. Whether you are an experienced swimmer looking for a tune-up or a novice swimmer needing fundamental instruction this clinic is right for you. Start the new season right with a littlte extra attention to your stroke skills.

    Clinic schedule:

    • Sept 7,   4:30 - 5:45pm - Freestyle Clinic
    • Sept 8,   4:30 - 5:45pm - Breaststroke Clinic
    • Sept 9,   4:30 - 5:45pm - Butterfly Clinic
    • Sept 10, 4:30 - 5:45pm - Backstroke Clinic
    • Sept 11, 10:00-11:45am - Starts and Turns Clinic

     

    • All classes held at the Lake Forest College Sports Center pool
    • $30/clinic session or $125 when you sign-up for all sessions

    • Coach Maureen Sheehan, an ASCA Level 5 Certified Coach, has produced some of America’s top talent with LFSC-trained swimmers competing in the Olympic Games, World Championships and every US Olympic Trials since 1984. Learn from one of the best at LFSC! 
    • Coach Michael Lawrence is an ASCA Level 5 Certified Coach with extensive experience with the US Olympic and National Team. His 20+ years with the US National team translate to advanced skill development for you! 
    • Coach Laurel Liberty is an ASCA Level 3 Certified Coach with a lifetime of swimming achievements. A collegiate All-America and 2-time Masters National Champions will show you how to focus on important technical skills.
