Practices scheduled for LF College will be held as scheduled.

Practices at LF College (Mini Ducks, Championship Team, Senior and Bronze squads) will be held as scheduled.

   6:15-7:45pm   JO and Sr Champs

   6:15-7:30pm   Senior and Bronze

   6:30-7:10pm   Mini-Ducks class

The pool temperature at LFA has not been very consistent over the last several weeks, making it hard for mini ducks to learn to swim. Work crews are not on deck daily but it is still a little tough for our tiniest Ducks to learn good swimming skills.

To help our Mini Ducks focus on their swimming instead of the water temperature we are going to move class for the remainder of the session to Lake Forest College from 6:30p-7:10 Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Feb 12th.

 We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that  this move with improve your swimmers progress and experience with the Lake Forest Swim Club.

The Yellow Squad practice listed for Monday is correct: 6:00-7:00pm at LFA.

The practice schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday period has been updated and is available on the Calendar. All practices during the holiday period are at Lake Forest College. The college is closed to the public during the holidays making it very important to be on time (THAT MEANS EARLY!) for practice.

We will monitor the door until practice starts then give full attention to the pool.

If you are travelling . . . There Is No Fitness Fairy! Find a team. Find a way to keep your swimming goals in sight.

If you are visiting . . . There Is No Fitness Fairy! We have an "Open Door" policy for any swimmer (College, High School, Age Group) who needs a place to train during the holidays. You can simply come to practice according to the schedule or send a note to Coach Michael. Keep your swimming goals in sight.

If you are in town . . . There Is No Fitness Fairy! Be in practice. Keep your swimming goals in sight.

It's always an exciting day when we hit the pool for the first time. Please be sure to review the calendar/practice

schedule using the Google calendar located in the navigation section of the website or using the dropdown above. There are a couple of schedule changes due to a home swim meet at Lake Forest Academy and maintenance requirements at Lake Forest College. All of these are on the Google calendar!

Take special note:

• On Tuesday (18 September) and Wednesday (19 September) Lake Forest Academy have  home swim meets and we have had to change our schedule slightly.

• The Mini Ducks will start at 6:30pm on Tuesday.

• On Wednesday the Mighty Ducks, Yellow and Green squads do not have practice; the Bronze squad will practice at Lake Forest College at 6:20pm.

We use the website and Calling Post, an Internet based phone tree service, to notify members of schedule changes and other important information. Be sure we have a current phone number to use for these notifications! You can update or enter your phone number by sending a note to Coach Laurel.
