The 2012 edition of the LFSC Windy City Open Invite featured lots of fast swimming for every team. Results and other files can be found on the Meet Landing Page. Thank you to each team for the timing assistance and to the officials who made the meet a success. And . . . a special THANK YOU! to all of our wonderful LFSC parents who volunteered their time to the meet.

We still have a few holes in out meet operations staffing for the Windy City Open Meet this weekend. All LFSC families with a swimmer in the meet are asked to provide at least one worker for each each session in which their child swims by working the full session in which their child is participating.

Swimmers/families who signed up for the meet over the past 2 weeks should use the link below to choose a volunteer position at the meet.

• Team Timing Assignments     All timers receive free admission to the meet. A Volunteer check-in for timers will be available at the Admissions table. It takes a lot of timers to run a meet, please feel welcome to volunteer to time even if your team assignment is fulfilled.
  
  • LFSC     1 lane throughout the meet, backup
  • CWAC    2 lanes throughout the meet
  • YWFF    2 lanes throughout the meet
  • CPD      1 lane throughout the meet
  • MYST    1 lane throughout the meet
  • DPRC     1 lane throughout the meet

• Timeline   The pre-scratch timeline and projected warmup schedule are posted below. Game day scratches may shorten the timeline. The warmup scchedule is listed above.

Thanks to every team for attending the 2011 Windy City Open meet this past weekend. Over 60 new Meet Records were set at the meet this year.

Our meet landing page has results in both print and Team Manager file formats as well as the locked Meet Manager database file. Results have also been sent to Illinois Swimming and will be uploaded to the USA Swimming database.

In 2011 we will host a number of competitions, many of the closed invitational meets. If you would like to attend one of our upcoming meets send a note to lfsc@sbcglobal.net. You can join our Meets Mailing List to receive general information throughout the year. LFSC-hosted meets in 2011:

We have had several entry updates and corrections since posting the Psyche Sheets. Catching errors and correcting them of course, is one of the purposes of the Psyche Sheet.

These corrections WILL NOT appear in the online Psyche Sheet but WILL be in the meet database and on the check-in sheets. The Live Results version of the Psyche Sheet has been updated today.

Please go to the Meet Operations Table in the stands if you have any further corrections to your entry. Check the meet landing page for updated information including the timing assignment list,  pre-scratch timeline and directions.
